Artificial Intelligence Laboratory

AILAB

The Artificial Intelligence Laboratory consists of researchers at undergraduate and postgraduate (master’s and doctoral) levels. The research areas of the working team include machine learning and deep learning themed artificial intelligence problems. We produce theses and projects on various deep learning techniques to solve various problems, especially in the field of agriculture. Recently, we have been developing applications such as detection of plant diseases and pests, classification of agricultural products according to various criteria, and real-time detection. We carry out our projects through the workstation in our laboratory, and we also share the datasets we use as open source. All 7 TUBITAK-2209A projects presented by our laboratory in 2021 are entitled to be supported by TUBITAK. There is 1 workstation in our laboratory. Machine learning and deep learning models are developed using Python language and Pytorch and Keras libraries. Codes written with Spyder IDE are converted into desktop applications with PyQT and web applications with the Flask library.
